Do you mind me asking, what was the surgery?

Ice cubes are great for chewing. We recommend also a Kong. You can fill with candy and / or peanut butter, or you can freeze the broth in the Kong. The bones are also Nylabone natural and safe alternative to raw hides (Brrr!).

Add: Boring! I wish him a speedy recovery!

Get teething toys, but not discarded. Walking Chew bones are good and short.

All this chewing is really difficult / hard to for hours ...

And keep in a cage in a quiet room, attenuated ... not every day, but on most days. All that helps you stay relaxed.
